There’s no denying the appeal of buying a bike from a brand you know and trust. But when it comes to carbon road bikes, they can be prohibitively expensive. Yoeleo is one of a few brands that are changing that by offering high-end carbon road bikes at a fraction of the cost of big-name brands with similar specifications. The success of Yoeleo hinges on producing great carbon road bike frames at low prices—without compromising on quality. By selling bikes directly to customers via their website or via their network of carefully chosen dealers rather than going through third party retailers or distributors, it’s able to eliminate middlemen and other related costs as much a possible while still delivering top-level components at an affordable price point. Yoeleo, a Chinese road bike brand which deserves some visibility.
Brand for both professional and amateur cyclists
If you’re into cycling and have even a passing interest in road bikes, you may have heard of Russell Downing and Dean Downing. The two brothers are professional riders who have been riding Yoeleo bikes since 2016.
When they started using Yoeleo carbon road bikes, they were sponsored by the brand. As such, they had access to all their products including carbon road bikes at no cost to themselves. They chose this brand because it was reliable, durable and versatile – three qualities that a rider needs in his or her bike if he or she wants it to last long enough for them not only win but also stay competitive throughout his or her career as a professional cyclist (or even amateur).
For professionals or even amateur cyclists it is good to know Yoeleo road bike carbon bikes and wheels are UCI approved.
Chinese carbon road bike direct-to-consumer brand
Yoeleo is a Chinese carbon road bike brand. It offers high-end carbon road bikes at a fraction of the cost of big-name brands with similar specifications. The company also has an interesting business model: it’s a direct-to-consumer brand, so you don’t have to deal with the hassle of finding shops that carry their bikes in your area. This can be particularly useful for people who live in remote areas where there aren’t many bike shops to choose from!
The success of Yoeleo hinges on producing great carbon road bike frames at low prices. They have a good reputation for this, and it’s because their bikes are designed by a team of engineers working in-house, who then oversee the production process at their factory in China. 14 years carbon bicycle experience and +10 years Yoeleo branding developments have led to the brand being one of the premium brand in China and even internationally.
Dealers worldwide
All Yoeleo bikes are imported directly from the factory, so they’re ready to ride right out of the box. Yet Yoeleo’s bikes are not only for sale in China. The brand has a whole network of quality dealers worldwide. From Canada over Brazil to the Netherlands. For this, the Chinese brand does not choose just any dealer but does thorough research to take only the best dealers under its wing. These are reputable dealers that include bikefitting and follow-up service and warranty.
Affordable carbon bike and wheel brand
One of the reasons Yoeleo bikes are so much cheaper is that they import directly from their factory. When you buy a bike from a third party, there are usually middlemen who will mark up the price and take a cut for themselves. By importing directly from their factory in China, Yoeleo doesn’t have to pay these middlemen and can offer you a cheaper price on your bike.
There’s also no compromise on quality – each one of these bikes is handmade by skilled technicians who have years of experience crafting high-quality carbon fiber frames at competitive prices. Read here why Chinese carbon bike frames and wheels are so cheap and affordable.
Yoeleo Assortment
Yoeleo is more than just high-quality carbon bike frames. Their assortment is a lot more extensive than you might first think. In addition to road bike frames, Yoeleo also sells quality carbon road bike wheels. Of these, they have a classic and a pro version.
However, it doesn’t stop at road bikes. Thriathlon, MTB, cyclocross, gravel… it’s all part of the possibilities if you choose the Chinese brand Yoeleo. We’re talking about frames as well as wheels and all the accessories you need like handlebars, bottle cages and even brake pads.
By the way, Yoeleo is one of the only Chinese bike brands that also offers complete bikes. For this, they work with groupsets that other major brands also offer. Think Shimano Dura Ace and Shimano Ultegra finishes and groupsets.
Conclusion Yoeleo Chinese road bike brand
If you’re interested in a high-quality carbon road bike, Yoeleo is worth considering. Their bikes offer great performance at a fraction of the cost of big-name brands with similar specifications. By selling directly to customers via their website or via carefully chosen dealers worldwide, Yoeleo eliminates middlemen and other related costs as much as possible. You can get a great bike with top-level components at an affordable price. Yoeleo is by far one of the best Chinese carbon bike frame brands on the market.

Great looks and great specifications. Looking forward to your review.
Thanks a lot Lindsay!
Thanks for this nice article about Yoeleo. Looks like one of the Chinese bike brands you can trust, isn’t it?
Hi Dan, thanks mate for the comment. It looks so yes. I have contacted Yoeleo already asking them to test on of their bikes for a review. Wait and see 🙂
Hi, I’m currently interested in the Yoeleo R12 Di2 road bike. I just want to ask if there anyone ever did a direct comparison of average speed between the R12 versus the sworks tarmac or aeroad or cervelos or other mainstream bicycle brand aero road frames? I’m definitely interested but I also want to know the direct comparison of performance between the R12 versus these mainstream bicycle brands
HI Kendal Li, thanks for your message. I am now in discussion with a few bike brands like Yoeleo to test their bikes vs the main stream bikes I own (= A specialized tarmac SL7 and a Bianchi Oltre XR4). I want it to be an honest review though during which I will also look at the speed compared to my other bikes riding the same power. I hope I will be able to soon provide you this valuable info.
Hi Wim, would be great if you could add a personal review of their bikes too. I have considered a Yoeleo bike but I can’t find a real honest review so far. It are all clearly promo talks.
Hi Kris, thanks for your comment. Yeah, true. I fully agree…difficult to distinguish the real reviews from the sponsored ones sometimes. I always try to be honest in my reviews and to work together with brands which let me free in my opinion. Hopefully I can give you that honest review of a Yoeleo bike real soon.
Great introduction. I love the looks of their bike but are they safe and reliable….
Hi Mohammed, thanks for your message. I believe they are but I can’t tell you 100%. The intent is to test one soon and to write, among others, about safety and reliability reviewing the quality of the frame and wheels.
It’s one of the Chinese bike brands that caught my eye two months ago. Living in the Netherlands I don’t see it quite often in races or on the road unfortunately. Have you ever tested one?
Not yet Dutch Biker. I hope to be able to test one soon so I can write that honest review. I will also compare it against my main stream bikes then.
